33 Years of Vaske Computer, Inc.

SAINT PAUL, Minnesota, March 16th, 2026 – Vaske Computer, Inc., was founded on April 19, 1993. But like many great companies, its story—and its ideas—began even earlier.
In 1991, long before the cloud reshaped our world, before cybersecurity became a frontline defense, and decades before AI entered everyday conversation, Steve Collier set out with a simple belief: focus on enterprise IT, build true partnerships, and deliver technology that creates measurable business value. That belief became the foundation of what is now Vaske (aka Collier IT).
We were born in the era of legacy systems and mainframes, working alongside the innovators who built the early backbone of modern computing. We watched that world evolve into distributed network computing, where the idea that “the network is the computer” unlocked possibilities no one had imagined. When the cloud revolution arrived, we embraced it—adapting, learning, and growing through every shift the industry delivered.
Three decades in IT is a lifetime. We’ve seen trends come and go, promises made and broken, technologies rise and fall. We’ve earned a few bumps and bruises along the way, but with each one we gained something far more valuable: wisdom, resilience, and perspective. That journey shaped us into the company we are today.
